Zürich, der Naturforschende Gesellschaft, 1908. Large 4to. 26 pp., one plate with photos by the author, one double-sized plate with profiles of which the lower one hand-coloured. Near contemporary half cloth with the original pruinted wrapper mounted on the front board. = A nice copy of this excellent summary of the morphology of the Alps by the great Swiss geologist Arnold Heim (1882-1965). This copy well-bound, and with one figured hand-coloured to bring out the details much more clearly. The colouring may have been done by Heim, or by the Austrian geologist Alexander Tollmann (1928-2007), whose name is written in the top margin of the title page, or earlier. Otherwise a very good clean copy.
