Two parts in one volume, complete. [2], 481, [4], 155 pp. First and only edition of this early Provencal-French dictionary. Avril's dictionary greatly improves on its predecessors: not only does it define more words, but it gives extensive definitions with notes on grammatical usage. Printed on fine wove paper. 8vo. Bound in contemporary quarter hardgrain morocco and decorated boards. Wear to extremities of binding, but structurally solid and still attractive. Internally fine except for scattered foxing. A very good copy of a rare book.
