This is a very good hardcover copy with light wear to spine tips. Very clean inside and out, but pages are yellowing a little around the edges. Text in English and German. This survey covers exhibitions of modern design objects and other cultural subjects in Europe and the United States. Many of the exhibitions are well known including the Milan Triennales of the 1950's, the Good Design shows sponsored by the Merchandise Mart in Chicago, Documenta in Kassell, Germany, the Herman Miller Showroom, the Design Collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. among dozens of others. The exhibition designers are all indicated. Illustrated in black & white. 9" high X 11" wide, 251 pages.
