Slightly later dark blue buckram with gilt title on the spine. = A detailed and well-illustrated work by the Belgian malacologist Eugène Henri Joseph Leloup (1902-1981). Definitely it is the best-illustrated and most up-to-date work on the spectacular gastropod fauna of the second longest and oldest lake on Earth. Of the Exploration, this is the complete Volume III, fascicule IV. Inscribed and signed by the author in the top margin of the front wrapper, and inscribed by the American malacologist Kenneth J. Boss (1935-2014). A very good, well-bound copy.
