Descrizione

[Bonn, Eduard Weber, 1823]. 4to (27.5 x 21.2 cm). 42 pp.; 14 engraved plates (several folded). Later blind half cloth over marbled boards. = The first and by far largest paper includes the description and illustration of many new plants including trees from South America, now usually referred to Rutaceae. The plates are numbered XVIII to XXXI. Stafleu and Cowan, list this under Martius and record only 13 plates. The second paper (which in the Acta precedes the Fraxinellae paper), with four pp., and one chromolithographed plate is by C. G. C. Reinwardt and Nees von Esenbeck. It deals with a new moss from the Moluccas and is not in Stafleu and Cowan. Offprints from the Nova Acta physico-medica Academiae Caesareae Leopoldino-Carolinae Naturae Curiosum XI. Stafleu and Cowan, 5517.
