Bonn, [Academia Caesareae Leopoldino-Carolinae], 1823. 4to (27.6 x 22.3 cm). 42 pp., 14 lithographed plates (six folded). Contemporary marbled spine. = This work deals with newly discovered and poorly known flowering shrubs from South America, Brazil in particular, collected by Martius. Offprint from the Nova Acta Physico-Medica Academiae Caesareae Leopoldino-Carolinae Naturae Curiosorum, volume 11. The plates are numbered XVIII to XXXI. Stafleu and Cowan list this as having only 13 plates (18-30). With a label of Eduard Weber "Bibliopolam Academiae Imperialis" (the Academy's publisher) pasted on the title page. Uncut. Text a bit foxed, otherwise a very good, complete copy. Stafleu and Cowan, 5517 (under Martius).
