The story of the silkworm was told in the book from the silkworm egg to the silk. Narrators (silkworm, mulberry leaf and author) told the story from their own perspectives. The silkworm ate lots of mulberry leaves during the caterpillar stage since continuing its bloodline was its fundamental goal. It underwent the necessary transformations inside the silk walled house it weaved. It was reborn as a moth and came out of its cocoon. It coupled and left the eggs that will continue its bloodline. Thus, it experienced the joy of fulfilling its task before passing away. This natural cycle of life does not always continue in this manner.
