Title pages, 164 pp. [84; 80]; two lithographed plates [1; 1]. Red buckram with gilt title on the spine. Original printed wrappers bound in. = Two rarely seen papers by the German zoologist (principally malacologist) Ingo Max Ottokar "Max" Leschke (1878-after 1916). The plates are very good, and depict many new and rarely observed species. Both papers are offprints from the Mitteilungen aus dem Naturhistorischen Museum. In the top margin of the front free endpaper, first front wrapper, and title page, a stamp of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020). A very good, well-bound and clean item.
