Egerton's well-known account, first published in 1884, is reprinted from papers originally published in 'The 'Sussex Advertiser' and 'The Leisure Hour'. This later issue omits two of the three works present in the first edition: 'Quaint Industries' and 'Interesting Places in Sussex'. Bright copy of a Sussex classic from the sometime rector of Burwash. EXTREMELY SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION.
