London, British Ornithological Union, 1918. 8vo. xxxvi, 800 pp.; ten plates (five coloured). Original red embossed cloth with gilt title on the spine, and gilt vignette on the front board. Top edge gilt. = A volume from one of the longest running and most influential ornithological magazines. Especially the earlier years, with fine plates by Keulemans, Grönvold and others, are very uncommon and sought-after. Spine slightly sunned, as usual, and partly damaged. Ex-libris pasted in on verso frontboard, whole in spine, edges slightly worn.
