8vo. (4), 84 pp. With woodcut printer's device on title-page and engraved frontispiece (Thurston del., Anker Smith sc.). Contemporary boards with giltstamped blue spine labels. First English edition of Kotzebue's colonial-themed comedy "Die Indianer in England" (first performed at Reval in 1789 and published in Leipzig the following year). Translated by Benjamin Thompson (1774?-1816), a British professional playwright who was also an unsuccessful agricultural speculator. - Slightly browned due to paper. - OCLC 7051346.
