8vo., Third Impression, with tinted frontispiece and 7 fine tinted plates by Searle; blue cloth, gilt back, backstrip mildly faded (but all gilt wholly legible), a bright, clean copy in unclipped dustwrapper, the latter browned on (predominantly white) rear panel and with small loss at upper edge of rear panel. Published two months after the first edition. The particularly striking dust-wrapper carries a dramatic illustration by Searle not repeated in the book. SCARCE IN THIS CONDITION. Enser p.409 (recording the first edition).
