Ad ambedue i volumi: doppio frontespizio, di cui uno figurato (blanda gora), incisi in rame da Grignon su disegno di Mortimer e ritratto a medaglione in antiporta inciso da Cook. Tracce d'uso alla coperta, con piatto anteriore semistaccato al vol. 1°, ma buon interno. "Bell's Edition, The Poets of Great Britain, complete from Chaucer to Churchill".
