A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked half-leather boards, rubbing to leather, small 1cm tears to upper fore-edge of title and next page, lovely pristine marbled end papers and page edges, and no bumping to corners. 259pp. Written in 1865, this children's historical romance set in the time of the Last Crusade in the 13th century .Black and white frontispiece by Adrian Stokes
