8vo., First Edition, with portrait frontispiece, 2 portraits and 12 maps (many folding) on japon, title lightly spotted, contempoorary signature on front free endpaper; original tan bickram, upper board and backstrip with divisional emblem blocked in red and lettered in black, uncut, one corner bruised, covers mildly age-soiled else a very good, bright, clean copy. 29th Division was the only regular British formation at Gallipoli. Subsequently, however, it served at Somme, Arras, Ypres, Cambrai and the final offensive in Flanders. VERY SCARCE. Enser, p.60; Falls, p.110.
