First Edition, Special Issue, one of 525 copies on Navigator mould-made wove paper, bound in polished buckram and signed by the Author. This is copy number 47. Profusely illustrated with 39 illustrations on plates, and 4 architectural plans, of which 3 are large and folding. Quarto, (26 x 20cm.), publisher's original dark navy-blue polished buckram, the upper cover with gilt and black vignette of The Wanderer on a gilt background, the spine lettered in gilt, silk ribbon marker, original clear dustjacket, in the publisher's original protective box. [ix], [1], 119, [1] pp. A brilliant copy. As mint and pristine, the book in absolutely original condition as shipped from the press, protected and preserved in a superb state for nearly 100 years.
