INSCRIBED by the author on front free endpaper to author and well-known Sherlock Holmes scholar Samuel Rosenberg (1912-1996). Rosenberg - also a photographer - started to get interested in Sherlock Holmes after a journey to Rosenlaui, Switzerland, an important place for Sherlock Holmes.
