AN ASSOCIATION COPY, from the library of DANIEL DEVOTO AND MARIA BEATRIZ DEL VALLE-INCLAN (their stamp on half-title). Devoto (1916-2001) was an important intellectual figure who counted among his close friends many of the great literary figures of 20th-century Spain, France, and Latin America. 8vo. Original wraps. ENTIRELY UNCUT. Wraps reinforced at joints and edges. Internally fine and bright. Vicaire II, 578. Large-paper copies are very rare.
