Original typed letter - document with autograph scripts (TLS) and signature by Aptullah Kuran. 29x21 cm. In Turkish. Sent to Gülten Tüter who was an educator in Bogaziçi University. Dr. Aptullah Kuran was a Turkish scholar expert on Ottoman architecture and founding president of Bogaziçi University. After graduation from Robert College he accepted Bachelor's and master's degrees at Architecture in Yale. He returned to Robert College in 1968 and became its first president when it was converted to a state university by Turkish authorities. This document includes a letter stating that the Ministry of National Education has been applied and approved for a raise in the salaries of university employees.
