Four parts in four. 8vo. 862 pp. and 4 ll. of indexes and four lithographed frontispieces amongst which two nice "Naturels de l'Ile d'Oualan et Port de Jackson". Original uniform printed wrappers. = This is the Brussel edition. Sabin only quotes the Paris edition from the same year with more pages and 41 plates. This Bruxelles edition was published in the series Trésor historique et littéraire and includes four new frontispieces. The "Coquille" expedition achieved notable scientific and especially natural history results including many new plants and birds, mainly from the Pacific. All wrappers frayed and chipped. Frontispieces and titles a bit foxed and a few pages of the last volumes a bit browned atthe bottom. Otherwise good. Ferguson 2788; Sabin, 40214.
