The Yasar Kemal Portrait Cartoons Album, published as a joint publication of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, IMM Cartoon and Humor Museum and the Cartoonists Association, includes the works of 120 artists from 27 countries. Yasar Kemal devoted his entire life to understanding and conveying the story of humanity. This work, which was created with the lines of those who witnessed the thought and writing adventure of Yasar Kemal, is valuable in terms of bringing together all these cultures and the people of these cultures, as well as its artistic value. The book, which includes the cartoons of Yasar Kemal, was able to bring together many artists from different countries and different cultural climates, from Brazil to Iran, Cuba to Austria, and left a mark on all of them.
