Published for the Army and Navy Commission of the Protestant Episcopal Church. June issue 1942, being the fourth. 16mo, publisher's original navy blue cloth, lettered on the upper cover in yellow, endpapers printed with the Lord's Prayer and Apostle's Creed. 91pp. A fine copy, unusually so, for a book designed to be carried in the pockets of soldiers at war. The text is clean and fresh, the blue cloth bright and unfaded, very little age evident.
Edizione: an attractive little prayer book from the second world war, hard to find in nice condition as here. these were provided to service men for free from the episcopal church. the book contains the order of worship and the holy communiion, along with prayers, psalms, readings from the bible, and hymns.
