No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards, dusty page edges and softening and some rubbing to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked with small pieces missing from corners, crease to upper edge and ragged spine ends. 279pp. Dilys Powell's account of her three visits to Greece, fistly in 1945 after World War Two, then in 1953 when the counntry was split by civil war and finally in 1954 when the country was reviving she joined an archaeological expedition on the island of Chios.
