To his friend, the jurist Martin Emden (1801-58), asking him to drop in the following day to discuss the philosopher's domestic troubles: "Lieber Freud, ich habe häuslichen Verdruß u. bitte Sie Morgen, wenn Sie irgend können, sobald Sie ausgehn, bei mir vorzusprechen [.]". - A few tiny marginal flaws; lower right hand corner clipped from opening the letter. - Hübscher, Gesammelte Briefe 225.
