This is a very good 2 volume hardcover set in the original green printed boards with just light cover wear. Completely clean inside and out, a few page corners bent in the First Portion. These are sale catalogs for auctions that were held at Sotheby's London, New Bond Street location on November 14-15, 1977 and May 8-9, 1978. The First Portion: Abbeville- Lyons, had 344 lots. Many illustrated in black & white + fold-out color frontispiece. The Second Portion: Madrid- Zwolle, had lots 345 through 698. Thus 698 lots in the complete sale. Price estimates sheets for both Portions, but not prices realized sheets. 10" high X 7" wide. Various indices: authors, titles, printers, provenance. Heavy set, foreign shipping will be extra. These books will be securely wrapped and packed in a sturdy box and shipped with tracking.
