London, The Linnean Society of London, 1886. 8vo (22.2 x 14.2 cm). 104 pp.; 32 text illustrations, nine double-sized lithographed plates. Original printed wrappers. = A rare work on conifers by the English botanist Maxwell Tylden Masters (1833-1907). Published as the Society's entire Journal, volume XXII(143-144). The usual shelf wear: wrappers a bit spotted; spine cover split, but binding holding; light staining to the fore edge, but mostly clean and in all a very good, complete copy. Not in Stafleu & Cowan.
