First edition. - A rare volume issued in commemoration of the 1861 pilgrimage to Maria Pernegg in Styria. Includes various prayers and litanies to the Virgin Mary and other saints as well as a brief of indulgence by Pope Pius IX. - Lacks both steel-engraved plates. Hinges damaged, binding loosened and scuffed. From the library of the Viennese collector Werner Habel, with his signed and stamped ownership, dated 1997, to front pastedown. - Schlossar 206.
