Original boards. Spines with printed labels. = The first four volumes, and the first half of the fifth, of the rare history section of the famous 'Encyclopédie' in original boards. Written by the French historian Gabriel-Henri Gaillard (1726-1806). His name, however, is not mentioned. The Histoire text should have six volumes when complete. Uncut. With the widest possible margins. Bindings rather worn, labels often abraded, all as usual or better; a few spots; otherwise a very good set.
