In-8° (cm. 18,5x12,5), pp. XI, 558 + 6 pagine (Routledge & CO's catalogue). 11 tavole fuori testo in bianco e nero (compresa l'antiporta con il ritratto di Perrault) di Goldwin, Corbould e Harvey. Tela verde editoriale con ricchi fregi a secco e oro al piatto anteriore e al dorso, a secco sul piatto posteriore. Cartellino di "Edward Goodban, Printseller & C., 9 via Tornabuoni, opposite the Café Doney, Florence, English Stationery. Dorso parzialmente staccato lungo la cerniera posteriore. Usure agli angoli e alle cuffie. L'interno presenta qualche fioritura, ma il testo e le tavole sono perfettamente leggibili e godibili. Qualche quaderno allentato. Splendida edizione vittoriana.
