Uniform printed wrappers. = Very important contributions to the zoology of this isolated island in the subtropical South Atlantic. The contributions are mainly entomological and contain papers on Collembola, Diplura, Thysanura, Odonata, Blattaria, Isoptera, Orthoptera, and Dermaptera (all in Volume 1); and Basilewsky and Leloup's Coleoptera, including 125 figures (all 530 pp. of vol. 2). Most papers contain new species and sometimes higher taxa, as could be expected from such an isolated and generally little studied fauna with high levels of endemism. A very good, clean set. Rare.
