Folio. 48 pp. Original softcover album. Fine, inscribed copy of Uderzo's first Asterix album also written by himself, without his legendary collaborator René Goscinny, who had died in 1977. Originally issued in 1980, this album was also the first publication of Uderzo's newly-founded "Editions Albert René" after breaking away from Dargaud. This is a special gift edition, issued by the French petrol company Total and not for sale. - Inscribed to the collector Jean-Michel Guillon of Dinard, Brittany. In excellent condition.
