Gilt title on the spine. = A well-illustrated work by the French geologist and palaeontologist Jean Albert Gaudry (1827-1908). This copy with on the first blank a hand-written dedication by the author to the renowned German zoologist, Prof. Karl Vogt (1817-1895). Boards a bit rubbed, scattered foxing, otherwise very good.
