Book and slipcase in as new unread condition. No marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. 254pp. Originally published in 1796, this account by the author tells of his sea service as a young man in the 1750s and 60s, during or just after the Seven Years War. His reason for telling his story was to earn some money to support himself, now disabled after his years at sea.
