Text in French. The sale consisted of the contents of Karl Lagerfeld's villa La Vigie. He purchased it and entirely redecorated it with older and more recent French furniture and modern decorative arts. Many photographs of the room settings he designed. A number of glass chandeliers by Boris Sipek. Wrought ironwork by Mario Vila. Several of Lagerfeld's own designs: overstuffed chairs and a large couch. Most of the photography for the catalog of exterior and interior views by Lagerfeld and also Claude Germain. 419 lots in the sale. All illustrated in color.
