And with the dedication from Grant in holograph facsimile. 8vo, publisher’s original green cloth lettered in gilt and with a gilt medallion on the upper covers, with floral endpapers. 584; 647, index pp. An uncommonly bright and handsome set, beautifully preserved, the green cloth in a wonderful state of preservation with no fading, the text is completely free of any spotting or foxing whatsoever, and the typical toning of the paper found on this edition is in this case especially mild.
