No marks or inscriptions. A very clean very tight copy with unmarked black cloth boards, slightly dusty foxed page edges and minor bump to upper rear corner. Dust jacket not price clipped or torn or rubbed with minor marking around spine foot, sunned spine and nicks to top of spine. 446pp. Story of a young doctor who investigates lung disease and social conditions amongst South Wales miners. It was considered a novel which helped found the National Health Service.
