8vo., First Edition thus, with an engraved portrait frontispiece, some light pencilled annotation in a neat and scholarly hand; handsomely bound in red full calf BY HATCHARD, sides with double frame border stopped at corners by rosettes all in gilt, back with five raised bands tooled in gilt, second compartment with black leather label lettered and ruled in gilt, all other compartments elaborately tooled and ruled in gilt, marbled edges, gilt dentelles, marbled endpapers, joints lightly rubbed else a most attractive copy ideal as a gift or for presentation.
