<span style="font-style: normal;">In-8° (cm. 21,2), elegante legatura di poco successiva in pieno vitello bruno, </span><span style="font-size: 13.333333px;">piatti inquadrati da triplici filetti in oro ornati da angolari sempre in oro e fiancheggiati internamente da una cornice floreale a secco, </span><span style="font-style: normal;">dorso a nervi con titolo in oro su tassello, fregi e cornici geometriche ai comparti sempre in oro, labbri e unghiature con filetti in oro, tagli e risguardi marmorizzati; pp. CXII, XXV [1b], 239 [3] in ottimo stato (leggera ombra al solo frontespizio, due </span><i>Ex Libris</i> applicati ai risguardi, pp. CXI-CXII anteposte); con 1 carta geografica delle Valli protestanti in Piemonte più volte ripiegata all'antiporta fuori testo (G. & J. Cary) e 12 belle tavole di vedute incise da Edward Finden sui disegni di Hugh Dyke Acland fuori testo. Prima edizione inglese della <i>Glorieuse Rentrée</i> dei Valdesi nelle loro valli nel 1690, dopo l'esilio dovuto alle persecuzioni dei Savoia; con la dedicatoria alla regina Anna. Ottimo esemplare.
