Opera adorna da tre incisioni di R. White. La prima, all'antiporta, raffigura in ovale, il Duca James di Hamilton; le due rimanenti nel testo, con ritratti di re Carlo I e di William di Hamilton. Alcuni vecchi restauri. L'ultima sequenza numerica contiene "An Appendix to the history of the Church of Scotland; containing the Succession of the Archbishops and Bishops in their several Sees, from the Reformation of Religion, until the year 1676.
