SIGNED on front end paper by a member of the Pugh family, possibly MP Pugh's wife - see image #2. No other marks or inscriptions. No creasing to covers or to spine. A very clean crisp very tight copy with bright unmarked boards and no bumping to corners. Dust jacket not price clipped or marked with small tears to edges. 232pp. The biography of a 'law man' who was unique in England and remains fascinating to the world. He was Prosecuting Solicitor to the City of Birmingham from 1924 to 1958.
