Square 4to, in the publisher's original red cloth, the upper cover lettered in black and with a design of a Viking ship in silver, the spine lettered in black, illustrative endpapers printed in red on silver paper, in the original brightly decorated dustjacket and slipcase of black paper-covered boards textured as morocco. 287 pp. A very fine copy, essentially as pristine and mint, the dustjacket is bright and fresh but with a little soiling at the spine and with two closed tears along the bottom edge, the slipcase is solid and sturdy with a little wear or rubbing, especially along the edges.
