First and only edition. A collection of stories, poems, and reflections by a former soldier who had lost the use of his legs and his right arm in battle. Fortunately, he was left-handed and could still write. viii, 136 pp. Author's blindstamp on half-title, as called for. Printed on fine laid paper. 8vo. Original decorated wraps. Entirely uncut. Backstrip gone, sewing still holding. Internally fine and bright but for a small, faint old stain at upper edge of a few leaves. A very good, unsophisticated copy of a rare book.
