Original brick-coloured staple-stitched wrappers. Roy. 8vo. (23 x 15 cm). In Persian. 52 p., b/w photographic and illustrated reproductions. A label on the verso of the front cover, written on "Überreicht von der Nachrichtenstelle für den Orient, Berlin W50, Tauntzienstr. 19a". Slightly foxed title page and edges. Overall, a fine copy. The scarce first and likely only Persian edition of this illustrated propaganda book issued by the News Bureau for the Orient, a German propaganda and intelligence agency during WW1, aimed at influencing Muslim populations in the Middle East. As of May 2025, OCLC shows four copies worldwide (77574124), three of them located in the US libraries: Stanford University, LoC, and Princeton University Library.
