Tête de femme agée è una puntasecca su carta vergata del 1953, rappresentante un bellissimo ritratto di una donna anziana, realizzata da Jeanne Bardey. Ottime condizioni, con una leggera macchia sul margine sinistro oltre la linea marginale. Jeanne Bardey (Lione, 1872 - 1954) fu una pittrice e scultrice francese che visse a Lione. Fu famosa per essere stata l'ultima studentessa di Auguste Rodin. Nel 1916 Rodin descrisse Jeanne Bardey come sua erede, ma i suoi desideri non furono rispettati, e quindi Bardey fu rimossa dalla sua eredità. Più di 600 delle sue sculture sono presenti nelle collezioni del Museo di Belle Arti di Lione. Altri pezzi sono esposti al Musée d'Orsay. Jeanne Bardey (Lyon, 1872 - 1954) was a French painter and sculptor who lived in Lyon. She is well-known for being the last student of Auguste Rodin. In 1916, Rodin described Jeanne Bardey as his heir, but his last wishes were not respected, and therefore she was removed from his legacy. More than 600 of her sculptures are present in the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts of Lyon. Other pieces are exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay. Cfr.
