Oblong 12mo (99 x 60 mm). 1 p. With autograph envelope. To a theatre critic named Schneider at the conservative daily "Le Radical", thanking him for a positive review of Hirschmann's opéra comique "Les Hirondelles": "Vraiment, mon cher ami, vous avez été déjà aimable pour la critique des Hirondelles [.]". - "Les Hirondelles" had premiered on 20 February 1907 at the Théâtre de la Gaîté. Hirschmann's best-known work is the opéra comique "La Petite Bohème" (1905), based on Henri Murger's famous novel "Scènes de la vie Bohème". - With collector's mark in pencil (verso).
