(mm. 215x132), mz. pelle coeva, fregi e tit. oro al dorso, conserv. bross. orig., pp. 61,(3), con 33 figure nel t., 2 tavole litografate f.t., di cui 1 più volte ripieg., con tre ill. di un apparecchio che vola. Le premier ouvrage connu sur le vol à voile appliqué à l'homme. Après avoir longuement étudié le vol des oiseaux, Esterno (1805-1883) donne ses instructions pour construire un appareil volant. Un chapitre enthousiaste prophétise les "résultats utiles de la navigation aérienne", et particulièrement comme arme de guerre. "Prima rara edizione". Cfr.
