Illustration depicts a group of characters on the balcony of a presumed theater. Spine lettered in white. Cover colors are bright but printed gilt is dulled. Spine faded. Some wear to base and head of spine. Corners bumped. Dust jacket present but lacking sections along spine. DJ Depicts same color illustration as on front board. Contents clean. Hardbound. Very Good. Cincinnati born Henry Thew Stephenson (1870-1957) was a teacher and writer. He attended Woodward High School before gaining degrees from Ohio State University, Harvard University and Indiana University. He studied for a year doing research at the British Museum. He was an Associate Professor of English in Indiana University in 1919. Stephenson published a number of fiction and non-fiction books whilst teaching English. Charles Mark Relyea (1863-1932) was an American illustrator whose work appeared in magazines and popular novels in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. NW62
