THE UNIQUE COPY of this gift book created for banker Alfredo Taylor upon his retirement from the Barcelona branch of the Banco Anglo Sud Americano. Comprises an initial blank, title-page PRINTED IN GOLD, 63 leaves of signatures (three signatures to a leaf), and three final blanks. The signatures (those of Taylor's colleagues) are of great interest from the point of view of graphic design: they are very dashing and calligraphic in the Spanish style, with characteristic flourishes. Extremely fine wove paper. Beautifully bound in full morocco by MIQUEL RIUS (signed), covers and turn-ins ruled in gilt, Taylor's initials in gilt on fron cover, all edges gilt. FINE AND BRIGHT, with no defects. UNIQUE.
