Dust jacket not price clipped or marked or torn or creased with nicks to top of spine and sunning to front. 175pp. The story of a friendship that lasted from 1938 to 1952. One person was a pessimistic intellectual and musician. The other was Alan Moorehead, an unsophisticated Australian who wrote The White Nile, The Blue Nile and Gallipoli amonst other works.
