London, The Trustees of the British Museum, 1914. 8vo (22.3 x 14.0 cm). 82 pp.; 12 plates. Original embossed dark red cloth. Gilt title on the spine, gilt vignette on the front board. Green endpapers. = A wonderful, mint copy, of a very special limited edition: a printed label on the front pastedown states: "This is number [25] of 25 copies of 'A Monograph of the Genus Sabicea,' printed on Special paper," with the number 25 added in ink. Ordinary copies have a green binding and are printed on cheaper paper, prone to toning. This special copy, however, is in a mint state with all pages bright and clean, and the binding as new.
